Impaired driving / Over 80

On the 28th of May 2023 at 2:46 pm a female attended the front counter at the Belleville Police Service to report a fraud.  The female advised that an intoxicated male approached her in the parking lot of a local business and attempted to defraud her of $500.  Officers attended the business and observed the suspect in the driver’s seat of a vehicle.  Officers spoke to the male and detected an odor of alcohol on his breath.  Police continued their investigation which resulted in the male being arrested for impaired driving.  Robert TRAINOR, 45 years old of Kingston was charged with Impaired Driving and Over 80.  He was released on an Undertaking with a court date in June 2023. 

 

Commercial Break-In, Theft

On the 26th of May 2023 at 5:45 a.m., Belleville Police responded to an alarm at a gas station kiosk on Bell Boulevard.  Police arrived to discover that suspects had broken into the store and items were stolen.  Security video captured a suspect vehicle at the station.  The investigation revealed it was a stolen car. 

The vehicle is described as a 2003 Lincoln, 4 door, Silver/gold in colour.

Assault with a Weapon

On the 27th of May 2023 at 12:30a.m., Belleville Police were called to home in the east end of Belleville regarding a disturbance involving a sword.

Officers arrived to find a female with minor injuries to her hands.  Following the investigation, a 29-year-old Belleville male was arrested at the scene and later released from police custody charged with Assault with a Weapon.  He has a court date in July 2023.
