Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 88 calls for service over a 24-hour period beginning at 5:00 am on July 09, 2024 to 5:00 am on July 10, 2024.

 

Disturbance call leads to arrest and charges

On the 9th of July at 8:23pm, Belleville Police attended an address in the city’s west end for a report of a disturbance. Upon arrival, police learned that a female had assaulted two parties causing minor injuries.  The female was also breaching conditions of a court ordered release and conditions of her Undertaking.  As a result, the 24-year-old female from Belleville was arrested and charged with two counts of assault, failing to comply with a Release Order and failing to comply with an Undertaking.    She was held in custody for a bail hearing.

 

Arrested on Warrants

On the 9th of July at 3:11pm, members of the Provincial Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (ROPE) Team arrested 40-year-old Adam Davis of Belleville who was wanted on several outstanding warrants held by the Belleville Police Service.  The warrants were for sexual assault, uttering threats, intimidation, failing to appear in court and a surety revoke warrant.  Davis was turned over to the Belleville Police Service where he remains in custody pending a bail hearing on the 10th of July.
