Stolen Vehicle

On the 9th of April at 4:45am, police received a report of a stolen vehicle from a Cannifton Subdivision. Sometime between 11pm and 4am the previous evening, unknown persons stole a 2019 Jeep Wrangler white in colour with Ontario licence plate CXKE 457. The vehicle is described as having a white hard top, all black “Fuel” rims and a white sticker in the windshield. If you observe this vehicle or have any information regarding the theft, contact the Belleville Police Service.

Break and Enter

On the 9th of April, police received a report of a break, enter and theft from a business on Pinnacle St.  Through their investigation, police learned that two males entered the business at 3:00am and proceeded to steal a variety of tools.  Police are continuing the investigation.   Anyone with information is asked to contact Cst McCurdy at 613-966-0882 x 4195 or mmcurdy@bellevilleps.ca

Arrested on Warrant

On the 9th of April at 3:23pm, the Belleville Police Service received a report of numerous people setting up a large encampment including two brand new tents on private property on South John St.  Upon their arrival, police spoke to numerous people.  Police spoke to 33-year-old Kevin Perrier of no fixed address and learned that he was currently wanted for failing to appear in court.  He was arrested on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.  The group of people were removed from the property.
