New Belleville Police Officer Sworn-In – Michelle Harper

The Belleville Police Service gained a new officer on Thursday. Michelle Harper took her oath before Justice Elaine Deluzio at a swearing-in ceremony at the Quinte Consolidated Courthouse. Harper has been working as a partner with the City’s Integrated Mobile Police and Co-Response Team (IMPACT) in responding to mental health calls since 2021 and said she “is very excited to join the Belleville Police Service.” Read The Full Story Back to News

Belleville Police officer wins Provincial Award

A Belleville Police Officer has been recognized with a special provincial award. Last Thursday night, the Police Association of Ontario (PAO) was thrilled to announce the winners of their 8th annual Police Services Hero of the Year Awards. The awards are presented to the best recipients from public submission nominations to recognize the work of outstanding police personnel who have gone beyond their call of duty to protect and serve their communities.
