Car collides with bus
On 2 December, 2024, at 8:43am, emergency services responded to a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Catherine Street and Yeoman Street involving a school bus and a car. No injuries were reported, and the damage to the vehicles was minor. The driver of the car, a 36-year-old Belleville man, was charged with careless driving.
Shoplift
On December 2, 2024, at 1:26pm, police were called to a north end business for a report of a large theft. Staff advised that two suspects had left the store with approximately $4000 worth of plumbing supplies. The suspects left in a white Chevrolet cargo van with plates that did not belong on the vehicle. Police are continuing to investigate.
