Theft of trailer
On 3 December, 2024 at 11:00am, Belleville Police responded to the theft of a “Big Tex” car hauler trailer at an Old Highway 2 residence. Police were advised by the victim that the trailer was taken on 2 December, 2024, at approximately 6:00pm. The suspect was driving an orange and red truck at the time. Harassment
On 28 November, 2024, Belleville Police took a complaint regarding harassment. Police were advised by the female victim that a male had come into her place of work and made unwanted advance toward her. The male then had been seen on multiple occasions waiting for the female outside of her place of work, as well as other nearby locations, and he made unwanted attempts to speak with her. Police received video footage of the male, and on 3 December, located the male walking and arrested him. Gurpreet Singh, 22, of Belleville was charge with one count of criminal harassment. He was later released with a 6 February, 2025 court date.
