Project RENEWAL Drug Trafficking Arrests
On the 26th of February 2025, Officers with Project Renewal, the Belleville Police Service Emergency Response Unit and K9 Unit conducted a vehicle stop and subsequent Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at an address in Belleville’s west end. As a result of the investigation, officers arrested 39-year-old Jeff Wood and 58-year-old Cheryl Wood, both of Belleville, ON; and seized the following:
- 4.196 Kilograms of Methamphetamine
- 160.7 grams of Cocaine
- 0.4 grams of Fentanyl
- $142,780.00 in Canadian currency
- Two cell phones
- Digital scales
- Packaging materials
Both Jeff Wood and Cheryl Wood were charged with the following offences:
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl
- Possession of proceeds of crime over $5000
Jeff Wood was held for bail; and Cheryl Wood was released on an Undertaking.

On the 27th of February 2025, Officers with Project Renewal, the Belleville Police Service Emergency Response Unit and K9 Unit conducted a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a pair of residences and storage unit in Belleville’s east end along with a trailer in Trudeau Park Tweed.
As a result of the investigation, officers arrested:

- Barbara Wannamaker 37 yrs of Trenton
- Kashys Davidson 22 yrs of Belleville
- Jody Davidson 48 yrs of Tweed

Josh TROTTER was held for a show cause hearing. Barbara WANNAMAKER, Kashys DAVIDSON and Jody DAVIDSON were released on a Form 10 with a court date of March 24, 2025.
Breach of Sentence Order
On February 26, 2025, members of the Belleville Police Criminal Investigation Division were conducting compliance checks on high risk offenders. As a result of the investigation, a 37-year-old male from Belleville was arrested for Breach of a Conditional Sentence Order in relation to convictions for; Mischief Under $5000, Uttering Threats to Cause Death, 2 counts of Fail to Comply with an Undertaking and Fail to Comply with a Release Order from September of 2024. The accused was held in custody and will appear in court on February 28, 2025 for a bail hearing.
Stunt Driving
On February 27, 2025 at 2:52pm, a member of the Belleville Police Traffic Safety Unit was monitoring traffic on Dundas Street East when he observed a vehicle travelling 91 kms/h in a posted 50 km/h zone. A 27-year-old female from Belleville was charged with Stunt Driving and had her drivers licence suspended for 30 days and her vehicle impounded. The female driver will appear in court in March.
