The mission of the Belleville Police Service Street Crime Unit is to eradicate gun and gang activity in the community. Please report Gun Crime to the Belleville Police Service.

The Government has provided funding to further enable the service to take a strong stance against gun and gang crime within our community.

FIGHTING GUN VIOLENCE REQUIRES BEING TOUGH ON CRIME BY USING STRONG ENFORCEMENT AND EFFECTIVE PREVENTION AND TAKING AIM AT THE CAUSES OF CRIME.

The Belleville Police Service GUN HOTLINE is a crime prevention initiative which will assist in this endeavor.

  • The Gun Hotline is used for reporting information about individuals and locations involved in illegal possession or use of firearms.
  • The Gun Hotline helps to simplify the process of reporting gun information
  • The information the public provides is an essential part of our policing efforts. We ask all residents to get involved. The time to act is now. YOU could save a life.
  • Callers to the Gun Hotline can be assured that information remains anonymous if requested.
