Assault
A 43-year-old Belleville woman is scheduled for a bail hearing after Belleville Police arrested and charged her with assault on the 11th of March. Police were dispatched to a residence in the city’s west end after a woman reported being assaulted. The suspect was located inside the residence and arrested without incident. During the investigation, police further learned that the woman was also wanted on an arrest warrant held by the Quinte West OPP. The OPP were notified of the arrest.
Arrested on Warrant
On the 12th of March at 12:16am, police were called to an east end business after a woman was attempting to enter the business despite being denied entry by staff. Police attended and identified the female as 37-year-old Lisa Seaboyer of Belleville. Seaboyer was wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant for failing to comply with a Probation Order, mischief under $5000 and two counts of failing to attend court. She was arrested and held for a bail hearing.
