Veteran’s Bridge vandalism       

Belleville police were dispatched to the Veterans Memorial Bridge Monday morning following a report received from the City of Belleville regarding vandalism.

The bridge, which spans the Moira River along Bell Boulevard between Adam and North Park streets, has a silver memorial set up on the west side. Sometime over the weekend several of the letters were damaged and a granite memorial stone was smashed.
