The Belleville Police Service gained a new officer on Thursday.

Michelle Harper took her oath before Justice Elaine Deluzio at a swearing-in ceremony at the Quinte Consolidated Courthouse.

Harper has been working as a partner with the City’s Integrated Mobile Police and Co-Response Team (IMPACT) in responding to mental health calls since 2021 and said she “is very excited to join the Belleville Police Service.”
