Breach of undertaking
A 20-year-old Belleville man spent the night awaiting a bail hearing this morning after he was found breaching probation, Wednesday.
Shortly before 11 p.m. police were advised of a male who was breaching conditions after he was spotted walking around city streets outside of his curfew.
An officer nearby located the male and he was arrested. The male will appear for a bail hearing today on a charge of breaching his probation conditions.
Bench warrant for arrest
A call to a couple arguing led to the arrest of a woman early Thursday.
Shortly before 1 a.m. officers were dispatched to the downtown area for a report of a disturbance between a male and female.
Upon arrival, both parties had left the area, however police located the female a short distance away.
Following an investigation, it was found she was wanted on a bench warrant issued by the courts.
The female, who was of no fixed address, was arrested on the strength of the warrant and released with a December court date.
