Assault and fail to comply with Release Order

On the 19th of November at 4:45pm, Belleville Police attended a residence in the city’s east end after receiving reports that an adult female had been physically assaulted.  Upon arrival, police spoke to the involved parties.  The victim suffered minor physical injuries.  As a result of the police investigation, a 24-year-old female was arrested and charged with assault and failing to comply with a Release Order.  She was held for a bail hearing.

Three vehicle collision

On the 19th of November at 6:57pm, Belleville Police attended the intersection of Church St and Victoria Ave for a collision involving three motor vehicles.  Belleville Fire and Hastings-Quinte Paramedics also attended.  Minor injuries were reported and all three vehicles were towed from the scene.  Following the police investigation, a 21-year-old male from Belleville was charged with failing to stop at a red light.  He was issued a Provincial Offence Notice.
