The Belleville Police Service will accept requests for the destruction of photographs and fingerprints from our Records Management System under the following criteria:
The related charges must have originated from a Belleville Police Service case to have this destruction request processed. If the charges originated from another police service, please contact that police service for more information.
Timelines about when you can make a request to have your fingerprints and photographs destroyed:
If you have a criminal conviction(s), you can apply for a record suspension through the National Parole Board.
If you qualify and you would like to have your fingerprints and photographs destroyed, please complete the Fingerprint and Photograph Destruction Form and attend the Belleville Police Station in person at:

You must bring 2 pieces of valid Identification (one must be a photo ID) along with payment, if applicable. Payment can be made by cash, debit, Visa or MasterCard, certified cheque or money order payable to Belleville Police.
As of February 1st, 2017 the Belleville Police Service will no longer accept requests from outside agencies on behalf of clients for Fingerprint/Photograph Destruction.
