Belleville Police along with Belleville Fire and Hastings-Quinte EMS attended Old Highway 2, east of Pointe Anne Rd. for a reported multi vehicle collision shortly after 4pm on the 9^th of September.  Initial reports indicated an elderly female was trapped in one of the vehicles and required extrication.  Upon arrival by emergency personnel, the female was safely removed from the vehicle.  Police spoke to both witnesses and involved parties and learned that the driver of a truck clipped another vehicle traveling eastbound which caused it to fish tail out of control.  The truck then proceeded to hit another vehicle traveling in the opposite direction.  One person involved was transported to Quinte Heath Care with minor injuries.  As a result of the investigation, an 18-year-old male from Carrying Place was charged with Careless Driving.
