Stolen vehicle

On the 17th of September, Belleville Police received a report of a stolen vehicle which was taken sometime after 8:00pm the previous evening from an address on William St.  The stolen vehicle is a red Ford Mustang with licence plate number DAYF 484.  Anyone with information regarding the theft or the whereabouts of the vehicle is requested to contact the Belleville Police Service or Quinte Crime Stoppers. 

Theft and Breach of Probation

On the 17th of September at 6:10pm, Belleville Police were called to a business in the city’s north end regarding a theft occurrence.  Loss prevention staff were following the male suspect who was observed taking several items from the store and then proceeded to leave without paying.  Police attended and located the male outside the business.  The male was arrested without incident.  During the investigation, police learned that the male was bound by a Probation Order with a condition to keep the peace and be of good behavior.  As a result of the investigation, 38-year-old Aaron Gray of Quinte West was charged with Theft under $5000 and Breach of Probation.  Gray was released from custody with a court date in October.
