A Belleville Police Officer has been recognized with a special provincial award.

Last Thursday night, the Police Association of Ontario (PAO) was thrilled to announce the winners of their 8th annual Police Services Hero of the Year Awards. The awards are presented to the best recipients from public submission nominations to recognize the work of outstanding police personnel who have gone beyond their call of duty to protect and serve their communities.

And this year, the PAO was excited to announce that the winner for the 2023 Extra Mile Award is Belleville Police Service officer Kyle Dodds.
