Community Policing Volunteers
Become a Community Policing Volunteer. We are always looking for keen volunteers!
Belleville Police Service Community Policing Volunteers take part in a wide variety of programs and activities including city-wide special events.
There are many benefits to volunteering with Community Policing. Our volunteers give back to the community while learning valuable communication skills, observation skills, team work skills, while developing great friendships. Aspiring police officers are able to greatly increase their competitiveness as a potential applicant.
Our basic requirements include:
- Meet minimum age requirement of 18 years old
- Pass a security clearance
- Provide two references with contact details
- Provide two pieces of identification (one with photo)
- Interview with the Volunteer Coordinator
We are not taking volunteer applications at this time. Please watch our social media and check back on our website for new opportunities.
