On the 18th of April at 10:00am, Belleville Police attended a business in the city’s north end regarding a male who was stealing personal property which belonged to employees who were cleaning the business. The male left prior to police arrival; however, following the police investigation, he was located at a nearby hotel. Suspicious person call leads to arrest
On the 17th of April at 4:50pm, Belleville Police were called to Dundas and Church Street regarding a suspicious male. The male had been observed by witnesses walking in a live lane of traffic with a knife in his hand. Officers located the male in possession of a five-inch folding knife.
