April 24, 2024 Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 90 calls for service over a 24-hour period beginning at 5:00 am on April 23, 2024 to 5:00 am on April 24, 2024.   Theft from Vehicle Sometime between the 15th and 17th of April, a vehicle was broken into while parked at a business on Wallbridge Loyalist Rd.  The owner of the vehicle reported that a professional Manfrotto DSLR tripod, black with orange trim was stolen from the vehicle.  Below is a stock picture of the camera tripod.  Anyone with information regarding the theft or the whereabouts of the stolen tripod is

April 23, 2024 Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 77 calls for service over a 24-hour period beginning at 5:00 am on April 22, 2024 to 5:00 am on April 23, 2024.   The Belleville Police Service report a steady 24-hour period ending at 5:00am on April 23rd.  Police did respond to several incidents that ended peacefully with police intervention. April 22, 2024 Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 190 calls for service between 5:00 am on April 19, 2024 to 5:00 am on April 22, 2024.   Theft On the 18th of April at 10:00am, Belleville Police attended a business in the city’s north end regarding a male who was stealing personal property which belonged to employees who were cleaning the business.  The male left prior to police arrival; however, following the police investigation, he was located at a nearby hotel.  As a result, 40-year-old Marco Brosseau of no fixed address was arrested and charged with theft under

April 18, 2024 Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 76 calls for service over a 24-hour period beginning at 5:00 am on April 17, 2024 to 5:00 am on April 18, 2024.   Suspicious person call leads to arrest On the 17th of April at 4:50pm, Belleville Police were called to Dundas and Church Street regarding a suspicious male.  The male had been observed by witnesses walking in a live lane of traffic with a knife in his hand.  Officers located the male in possession of a five-inch folding knife.  The male was arrested without incident.  The subsequent investigation revealed
