Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 85 calls for service over a 24-hour period beginning at 5:00 am on October 23, 2023 to 5:00 am on October 24, 2023.

 

Arrest on Warrants

On the 23rd of October 2023 at 3:14am, police were called to the area of Dundas Street West regarding suspicious persons pushing a pop-up trailer down the road.  Police attended and spoke to the involved persons.  Upon investigation, police learned that one of the parties had an outstanding arrest warrant for fraud and possession of stolen property.  As a result of the warrant, a 36-year-old female of no fixed address was arrested and held for a bail hearing.

 

Stolen Vehicle

On the 23rd of October 2023, police received a report of a stolen truck and trailer from the city’s industrial park area.  The truck and trailer were stolen sometime overnight.  The truck is a 2018 International, white in colour and had licence plate number AS91075 attached.  Prior to stealing the truck and trailer, the suspects removed all of the vehicle’s tracking devices.  Anyone with information regarding this theft or the location of the truck and trailer are requested to contact the Belleville Police Service or Quinte Crime Stoppers.
