Assault

On the 7^th of November 2023 at 6:30am, Belleville Police attended a west-end address regarding an assault. The victim reported that he was assaulted on the 6^th of November by his roommate and suffered minor physical injuries. Police located the roommate who was arrested for assault.  Himanshu Hooda, 27 years-old of Belleville was charged with one count of assault. He was released on an Undertaking with a December court date.

Breach of Release Order and Fail to Comply with Probation

On the 7^th of November 2023 at 10:15am, Belleville Police received a complaint at an east end residence regarding unwanted persons.  Police were advised that there were several people in a residence who were not permitted to be there and they were causing a disturbance.  During the investigation, police spoke to a female resident and a male that was in her company.  Police learned that the 32-year-old male from Belleville was on conditions from a previous charge not to communicate with the female and not to attend that particular address. The male was arrested and charged for failing to comply with a release order and failing to comply with probation. He was held in custody for a bail hearing.
