Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 61 calls for service over a 24-hour period beginning at 5:00 am on December 13, 2023 to 5:00 am on December 14, 2023.

Sexual Assault

On the 10^th of June 2023, the Belleville Police Service began an investigation after receiving a complaint of an adult female being sexually assaulted.  During the investigation it was learned that a male had set up a real estate showing of a location in Belleville.  While touring the residence, the male sexually assaulted the realtor.  As a result of the investigation, Belleville Police have charged 38-year-old Nicholas Foster of Belleville with one count of sexual assault.  On the 13^th of December, Foster turned himself into the Belleville Police.  Foster was released on an Undertaking with a court date in January 2024.    

Police seeking public’s assistance in locating missing adult female

The Belleville Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 33-year-old Danielle Wilson.   Wilson was last seen on the 11^th of December at 6:30pm when she left her family residence on foot.

Wilson is described as 5’6” tall, with dark brown hair past the shoulder in length.
